Netgear has launched its new D6200-100PES modem router on the market. It is a very high-performance device that allows you to navigate at the maximum possible speed, even if a relatively high number of devices are connected to it.

Inside the box, we find the modem router, the power supply, an ethernet cable, a telephone cable, an ADSL2 + filter, and the quick installation guide.
On the other hand, as regards the design, the new Wi-Fi modem router from the Netgear manufacturer is very neat, it can only be positioned vertically, and the entire surface of the modem is glossy black.
On the front of the modem, we find several LEDs that show the status and other information, always on the front side there is the writing Netgear with the characteristic gray color.
On the back of the device instead, we find the different ports which are:
- One USB 2.0 port
- ADSL input
- 4 Gigabit ports
- One input for the fiber connection
Followed by the button that allows you to turn the modem on and off and another button that also allows you to turn the WPS on and off.

Now that we have seen the aesthetic part, we can move on to talk about the features and functionalities that this magnificent modem has.
The Netgear D6200-100PES wireless router has 12856 MB of RAM, it can effortlessly support both ADSL and VDSL2 networks up to a speed of up to 200 Mbps.
So, it is compatible with both traditional networks and modern ones that usually use fiber and that have the main Italian operators.
Connectivity is in fact the strong point of the new Netgear D2600, the Ethernet ports are 5, one of which is dedicated to the WAN, instead, the Wi-Fi connections are at the top: Wi-Fi 802.11A, 802.11B, 802.11G, 802.11n.
Then there is also the AC1200 technology that allows you to reach a maximum speed in dual-band (2.4 + 5 GHz) of 1.6 Gbps, ideal for streaming on the local network of very large files in HD o FullHD for both gaming.
The device is also equipped with a USB port, which sadly is only 2.0. An important thing to know about this new router is the ability to manage it with the help of an app from the comfort of our smartphone or tablet.
Final Words
The Netgear D2600 managed to pass all of our tests quite well. The design of the device matches quite well with any type of furniture.
Perhaps as far as the design is concerned, a single flaw concerns the base of the device which is too small and tends to make the router unbalance forward, but thanks to the weight of the cables the whole are balanced.
On the other hand, as regards the functional part of the wireless modem router, we did not encounter any kind of problem, in fact, the modem behaved very well, always optimizing the signal according to the device it was most needed.
